Books4Niners.com is a website designed for the students and by the students of UNC Charlotte. The text book horror story has become all too familiar. Students spend between 200 and 500 dollars each semester on books. A resolution was bound to arise.
A dream in the making for over 2 years has brought us the website which has the ability to save UNCC students hundreds of dollars on books each semester. Finally, in June 2006, 4Niners.com LLC was formed to serve Charlotte students. It's first project, www.Books4Niners.com has the potential to change book buying and selling habits forever. Now, instead of receiving next to nothing for used books at the bookstore, students can sell these books to other students for more, benefiting both the buyer and seller. Students can register for free by using their UNCC email as verification. Once a member, books may be listed for sale at no charge. One student can list as many books as he/she wishes for free. Just specify what information you would like to be available to potential buyers. When other students click on your book, they will see the contact information you have approved of and get a hold of you. It's free and it's easy! Post your books for sale. Buy your books on this website. The more student participation we have, the more effective this website will be. If we work together, we can make this happen. Let's make Books4Niners.com work for us!
